Job Posting!!! We are looking for a part-time Children's Ministry Director.
Granite Creek Community Church is looking for a part-time Children's Ministry Director with a heart to see God's kingdom come to lots of kids. Experience required includes recruiting and leading by vision, team building, and equipping others to minister.
Pastors Jonathan & Ruth Santamaria are not leaving, but they are changing their focus to our Spanish Church and also Mission Trips to Mexico.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop a team of volunteers to work with you. Identify, recruit and train workers.
Plan, train and teach curriculum for all kids classes on Sunday mornings, K-th grade (1st and 2nd service), and Wednesday night programs for children up to and including 6th grade.
Plans and oversee occasional seasonal events and outings. This could include Teepee Camp, VBS, Fall Into Fun, Easter Eggstravaganza and other events.
Duties and Responsibilities, including and not limited to:
· Develop a good relationship with volunteers.
· Demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude with the parents and the children
· Work with volunteer team to have all supplies in the classroom prior to class.
· Prepare and guide Bible learning activities from the provided Bible curriculum.
· Prepare curriculum, activities, crafts, and class materials prior to class.
